Several options were presented for the logo, including pictographs, but a simpler approach was eventually opted for. The logo has been used on their website, business cards and other merchandise. A symbol signifying the socially good aspects of the films they make also appears on the business cards, which are based on a colour scheme of one colour per member of the company. I will be working with the company on other projects, along with Joel Baker so stay tuned.

Inspired story board

The latest brief, inspired, is a project on motion graphics. Taking a 10-20 second audio clip of a creative talking about what inspires them, you must turn it into visually pleasing and inspiring kinetic typography. I found a fantastic quote by Steve Jobs, founder of Apple and Pixar.

"I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. I learned about serif and sans serif typefaces about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography, great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and I found it fascinating."

Below is a story board for the start of the film. You can see the rest of the truly amazing speech here

Science Fiction poster 2.0

After I received feedback on the original poster shown here I set about improving the concept. This is the result.
